Google Docs is a free, web bases word processor, presentation and form application created by Google. It allows you to create and edit a lots of documents. Then you can put them in other places. This means that people all over the world can edit on a single document, bringing in outside information. When Google started, it launched this application as two separate ones; Google Writely and Google Spreadsheet. They combined these two application, and added a another one for presentations, and form Google Docs. Google Docs unitizes cloud computing, which means that all this information is saved on the internet and not on the users personal computer. This means that all of these things can be accessed from any computer with internet access. It is a nice way to always have important info with you and you can't lose a website, like you can with a flashdrive. There are many other document sharing cloud computing websites online, but the thing that makes Google Docs so cool is, you don't have to buy it. Unlike other networking sites, Google Docs isn't very social. It's an easy way to send, save and share documents on the internet, but not really to communicate with you friends or family. This has become a new part of technology that has only recently been in use. Who knows where this can go in 5 or 10 years.

My favorite holiday in Christmas. I enjoy this holiday mainly because I get presents and I understand this is a ovious reason but its not the only one. It is also a day to spend with friends and family. It is a holiday to celebrate my faith in the Chatholic religon and to go deeper in my faith. This in by far my favorite holiday and I hope that I can have many more memories to come not only as a kid but also when I become a paraent.

Grades

My grades were pretty good and and think it will be a good thanksgiving. My grades were higher then they were last year. And my lowest grade was only a C+. I got and A and two A+'s and the rest on my grades were B's. This year I am keeping up on my work and doin better on tests. I going to try and do better however in the secound quarter. It will be a very good Thanksgiving.

Linked-In

Linked-in is a social networking tool that is normaly used for businees oriented networking. When a business is first starting out or is trying to expand Linked-In is a great tool to help market and premote your product. There are about 50 million users on this site and is it currently growing. All Fortune 500 company's are on the site. This can connect you to people and busineeses not only across America but across the entire world. This can be used as a way to find future employees for the company or for employess to discover the business. They try to find managers that would be got leaders and a strong worker. This can also make connecting with people who you havent seen in years easy to search for and communicate with. You can find out stats and infomation about just about anybody you like. This is also a way to fallow new musicanis and famos people if you are a big fans of celeberties. News about company's finacial or current status is rare but cane see if it was a big occuarnce. Merrillyl Linch had an account however was closed because of fanical troubles. This site was created to join companies with people interested in getting a job. Many may plan events of fun or activities. Linked-In can transform the way the current bussiness world reacts to currents and future employee's.

In todays world communication has gone to so many levels. E-mail and phones are still very widely known and used in today's world. However Facebook and MySpace have entered a new world in technology. We have moved pasted a regular e-mail or telephone call as a instant communication method. Not only can you share info but you can share photos, tags and groups with your friends. Many adults have also joined to keep up with there old high school friends, and thier family. This started very slowey but in only a few months grew into the worlds most popular websites. This have also become a way for businesses to advertisse there products and services, like when Ebonite puts new bowling balls on the sides of Facebook. If this revolution continues, in the near future the entire social world will be like nothing we have ever seen. There have been new bands and artists that adverise thier music on these networking sites, like new groups such as Jay-Z. If you are a newgroup trying to make a hit and become known this is a great tool to attract fans. In the old days any major event or problem wasn't heard about until the next day or somethimes days after it occured. It has become easier and time effient to use social networking to connect and promote new ideas and ways to bring friends and family together, like a baseball game and a poker night for a message to a group. With theses sites you are able to read about current event minutes after they happened. For these types of networks Facebook is better. These sites can also be used in the worst of ways. You must be careful not not put potenially harmful infomation that could hurt you socially or economiclly. Bad people have a sorts of ways to get info for the sole purpose of crime. If you are looking for advertisiments for a business, I recommed you try MySpace. It is a better way to get your music to the public and promote items of worth. However if you are looking to connect with people info, pictures, and updates I would make a Facebook page.

All my family does on thanksgiving is go to one of my uncles house, watch the couple of football games, and play cards. We all get to their house, talk for a little, watch some TV, and talk to catch up. Then we all sit down have a huge Thanksgiving meal. Then we sit and relax as my aunt gets desert out while we watch football, and then after we have desert we play a game of poker while watching the two football games. That is a normal thanksgiving for me. We normally do this for most holidays except for the NFL games since they aren't many on is the spring and summer. We also see them on C, Easter, and the 4th of July They mean a lot to my family because we have a lot of good times together. We don't see each other much besides bowling ally and my dads office once and a while so its nice to see and spend timw with them.

I think that my grades for the quater are pretty good. I think I got about a 3.20 GPA. That is pretty good for me. I have studied hard and did most of my homework. I am taking college level classes so I think that good. I just have to maintain those grades for the rest of my senior year in high school. I think that this year is easier because the only regents I have to focuis on is Math B in january. That why it feels easier, I have the one class to really foucs on instead of 3 or 4.

Twitter is a website which you are able to update their status and see what other friends or family is currently up to in their everyday lives. Twitter has become one of the most popular social networking sites along with Facebook and MySpace. Many athletes and celebrities are on Twitter and fans are able to keep up with there lives and interests. Some of the most popular people are on twitter such as Shaq and Lance Armstrong have accounts.
Twitter can actually have many useful functions in society. Businesses can setup a page to advertise and promote their product. There are advertisements of t-shirt companies online. It can also be used to connect with friends and family. All you have to do is search the name and click and the friend and you can send messages and chat online. Talk to cousin’s in the south or friends who moved out of state that you haven’t seen in a while. This has also become a more interactive e-mail. On all these websites you can fallow bands and TV shows. If a new season of a hit show is airing it will be displayed on Facebook. This makes it so much easier to create a fan base and get your music out to the world. There are so many songs on iTunes that there is no way to just stubble upon a new artist. If you here a song on Facebook you will get the band’s name and search them. In the past all new was written in the newspaper which means you weren’t able to access it until the fallowing day. Big events took hours to write stories, edit them, publish the stories, and ship them to the public. Now you are only a click away from all of that information. That has only been occurring for about 20 years. Now you no what happens all over the world. You can also advertise sports or games that you can play or go to and watch. These events are posted as “events”. If were not too careful however evil people may use information, that if a friend had would be harmless, but with a little research can cripple your personal freedoms.

Vegas and Hawaii

My best vacation ever was in 2005. First I went to Hawaii for 6 days and stayed on Waikiki Beach then I went to Las Vegas. First we flew to Hawaii and saw the valcano, went kayacking, and somedays just hung out by the pool. It was amazing wheather and our hotel room had an amazing view of Diamond Head. We took a tour of the Island and saw the Hawian culture. Then we went to Las Vegas and stayed in the Luxor hotel. All of the hotel lights, parties, and people make the city sparkel. We saw the Hoover Dam and Grand Cayon while I was there. There various resturants were stunning. They had some of the best seafood I've ever had. I would definetly go back to both places when I get older. It was an awsome trip and I believe that it will be one of the best trips I will ever have in my life time.
